Day:1 Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi,check into the Hotel.

Afternoon Leisure Day, Free for independent activities.

Day:2 Delhi - Udaipur (Nizammudin Express at 18:35)

After Leisurely Breakfast,visit Old Delhi & New Delhi.

Old Delhi An ancient walled city. Here you will drive pass Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Rajghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colourful market of the old city.

New Delhi This city designed and built by the british in the 1920's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. First you will visit two monuments from Delhi's past Humayun's Tomb and qutub Minar. Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate.

In the evening transfer to railway station to catch train Nizammudin Express at 18:35 to Udaipur.

Day:3 Udaipur

Arrive at Udaipur 7:00 AM upon arrival check into the hotel.

After Leisurely Breakfast visit: Udaipur City: In the most midst of this romantic fate ridden land you come Udaipur, beautiful city of lakes, Palaces and fountain. In the shadows of dark green hills, Udaipur's three lakes-Pichola, Rang Sagar and Fateh Sagar are shimmering jewels from the opal surface of which rise fairytale white palaces. Maharana Udai Singh sought shelter here from the Mughal hordes and then tarried to fashion a city out of the silent vale. Visit the

city Palace Museum-grandeur and intricacy stroked all over in Granite, Marble and Mosaic displayed in the sparkling white filigreed balconies and windows, ornate arches and cupolas atop magnificient octagonal towers.

Jagdish Temple Built in 1651 A.D. one of the oldest temple in Town dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Sahelion-Ki-Bari The Spectacular Garden displaying the unique life style of the royal ladies who once lived in the palace.

In the evening boat ride on Lake Pichola: most memorable boat ride with the reflections of the majestic Lake Palace Hotel at its best against the setting sun. Fringed with hills, gardens, havelis,ghats and temples,Lake Pichola is the scenic focus of udaipur,Set in it are Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir.

Day:4 Udaipur

Day:5 Udaipur - Ranakpur - Kumbhalgarh - Jodhpur (300 kms. / 6Hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast,drive to Jodhpur enroute visiting Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur.

Morning visit Kumbhalgarh Fort: It was Built by Rana Kumbha in 15 century, The fort has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometres in length. Claimed to be the longest in the world after "The Great Wall of China". Over 360 temples are within the fort. 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu. The vista from the palace top typically extends tens of kilometers into the Aravalli Range.

Afternoon visitRanakpur Famous for the quadruple jain temple dedicated to prophet Adinath, the whole structure has 84 domes and 1444 pillars.

After visit continue drive to Jodhpur, upon arrival check into the hotel.

Day:6 Jodhpur - Pushkar (220 kms. / 4 Hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast visit jodhpur city : The home of the Rathore rulers- the princely state of Rajasthan. A High 10 km.long wall protected the well fortfied city. Within stands an imposing fort on a low range of sandstone hills, about 125 mts. above the surrounding plains.

Visit Mehrangarh Fort founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha (after whom the city is named) the fort is intricately adorned with long carved panels and latticed windows of exquisite design in red sandstone.

Jasawant Thada- an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate the acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers in 19th century.

After visit continue drive to Pushkar,upon arrival check into the hotel.

Day:7 Pushkar - Jaipur (142 kms. / 3 Hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast visit

Brahma Temple This is probably the only important Brahma Temple in the country where the Creator of Universe is worshipped with immense faith. Located on the Brahma Ghat of Pushkar Lake, the temple has a four faced idol of Brahma installed in 1809.

Pushkar Lake This lake is believed to have appeared all by itself when the lotus flower fell off from the hands of Brahma. The lake is surrounded by 52 ghats and 400 temples. A holy dip in the water of the lake, especially during Kartik Purnima, is considered extremely auspicious to purify human soul. Today, after a bad monsoon the water of the lakes dries up which takes away half the attraction of Pushkar city.

Day:8 Jaipur

After leisurely breakfast visit Amber Fort the ascent to the fort will be on elephant back/jeeps,Amber fort,the formal capital of the royal jaipurs.

11 kms from Jaipur - A marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. The magnificent old citadel, a labyrinth of massive walls and towers, shrouds an exquisite marble palace, pillared and carved glimmering with a million tiny mirrors, which create tantalising reflection effect. The ascent to the fort is on gaily caparisoned, painted elephant, passing through the ancient main gate where Maharaja's of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years.

Afternoon visit Jaipur City

City Palace Museum - an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art. The Museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armoury of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and procession.

Jantar Mantar (Observatory) - an accurate Observatory built in 1726 AD :

Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storeyed wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires.

Birla Temple - situated just below Moti Dungri, the Birla Lakshmi Narayan Temple has a huge complex and is built in a contemporary style.

Day:9 Jaipur - Ranthambore (145 kms. / 3 Hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast drive to Ranthambore, upon arrival check into the hotel.

Afternoon visit Ranthambore Tiger Century: There are about 42 tigers in Ranthambore National Park. A good network of gravel tracks crisscross the park and safaris are undertaken in open-sided jeeps driven by ranger.

Day:10 Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (270 kms. / 5 ½ Hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast, Drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri: The Mughal Emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri about 35 km from Agra, and moved his capital there. Later abandoned, the site displays a number of buildings of significant historical importance. A World Heritage Site, it is often visited by tourists to Agra.

After visit continue drive to Agra, upon arrival check into the hotel.

Day:11 Agra

After leisurely breakfast, morning visit Taj Mahal , and Agra Fort

Taj Mahal : Agra is the medieval city of the famous 17th century masterpiece Taj Mahal, which of course is the most splendid of all buildings - perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. It was built in the memory of the beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal of one of the greatest kings Shah Jehan of the Mughal Empire.

(Taj Mahal closed on Fridays)

Agra Fort Agra is not only famous for Taj Mahal but the impressive Mughal Red Fort known as the Agra Fort. The story of the Mughal Empire in stone, Built by Emperor Akbar and successively enriched with places and marble pavilions.

Afternoon visit Itmad-ud-Daulah

Itmad-ud-Daulah Empress Nur Jehan built Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, sometimes called the Baby Taj, for her father, Ghias-ud-Din Beg, the Chief Minister of Emperor Jahangir. Small in comparison to many other Mughal-era tombs, it is sometimes described as a jewel box. Its garden layout and use of white marble, pietra dura, inlay designs and latticework presage many elements of the Taj Mahal.

Day:12           Agra -Jhansi (Shatabdi Train 08:10 AM / 10:25 AM)
                     Jhansi/ Orcha / Khajuraho (172 kms. /4 Hours)

After leisurely breakfast, transfer to railway station to board shatabdi train to jhansi.

Meeting assitance on arrival and drive to khajuraho, enroute visiting Orcha :The Bundela chief Raja Rudra Pratap(1501-31) chose an easily defended and beautiful site for his capital. Set on the island on a bend in the Betwa River, it is elevated above the surrounding wooded countryside.once capital of its own state, Orcha contains three palaces -The Raj Mahal, Rai Parveen Mahal, Jahangir Mahal -each built by succeeding Maharajas in a similar style and combining to from a complex as imposing as that at Udaipur. Also visit Ram Raja Temple & Chaturbhuj Temple.

After visit, drive to khajuraho, on arrival check into the Hotel.

Day:13 Khajuraho - Varanasi (Flight 45 Miniutes)

After breakfast,visit Khajuraho City: Founded in the 9th and 10th century by the rulers of Chandela Dynasty, influenced by tantrism, in eroticism becomes a theme of philosiphical interest and the aim is sublimation of sexual relationship in the sexual act or "Maithun" ,women being regarded as the incarnation of the divine energy or "Shakti". It is also possible that the Khajuraho were influenced by "Kama Sutra".Among the temples to visit are the Kandariya Mahadeo, Chaunsat Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath temple, and various ather temples.

After visit straight transfer to airport to board flight to Varanasi

Afternoon visit Varanasi City: The consists of visiting the city temples -the durga temple, better known as the Monkey temple on account of the large number of monkeys residing there and the temple of vishwanath (or Visheshwar "Lord of the Universe") are the most sacred spots in the city. Visit will also include Bharat Mata or Mother India Temple and the Benares Hindu University.

Day:14 Varanasi - Delhi (Flight 1 hour)

Early morning, boat ride on holy river Gangas -to see the ritual bathing and cremation is worth the effort of waking up before sunrise, a direct contact with life on the banks of the Ganges. Hindu pilgrims come to bath in the sacred Ganga, facing the rising sun, or at dusk, when leaf-boat lamps are floated down the river.

Afternoon visit Sarnath: 10 kms from the centre of the city,Sarnath symbolises the birth of Buddhism. It was here that Lord Buddha revealed his doctrine and founded his monastic community. The Museum at Sarnath is amongst the most important in India and contains carvings representing a whole range of styles - Archaic, the covering work of sculptors from 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D.

After visit straight transfer to airport to board flight to Delhi.

Upon arrival transfer into the hotel.

Rest of the day free for independent activities.
